Max (he/they) is a freelance filmmaker and photographer. Based in Chicago and from Boston, Max's work has been seen at American Theater Company and the Eugene O'Neil Theater Center. Max is a member of the 18/19 SDCF Observership Class. Max is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and the National Theater Institute. Max’s film with LOUD BODIES “i’m fine “ premiered at the In/Motion Dance Film Festival. Max is passionate about stories that intersect deeply personal issues and communal experience. As a photographer Max has shot feature films, short films, dance films, promotional videos, events, concerts, performances, headshots, portraits etc.
While not directing, Max loves music, museums, spending time outside and reading, getting film developed.
